Too save typing up 3 pages worth of the bullshit the Australian government have done I'll attempt to just compact this down to the shit happening in 2020.

In the beginning of 2021 things were starting to look up, the Aussies thought the worst of 2020 was behind us. We still had restrictions but for the most part they were free and cases were down, until the massive fuck up that is the Australian federal and state government let everything go to shit.

On 31 January, a quarantine hotel security guard at the Four Points by Sheraton in Perth tested positive. A five-day lockdown, from 6 pm on 31 January (Sunday) until 6 pm on 5 February (Friday) was declared. Schools remained closed for another week after being scheduled to resume on 1 February.

Beginning at 6:00 pm tonight the whole Perth metropolitan area, the Peel region and the South West region will be going into full lockdown.
— WA Premier Mark McGowan

1 case causes a snap lockdown in Perth, so how does the rest of the country respond?
In response to the lockdown, health authorities in the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, the Northern Territory and Victoria declared the affected areas to be COVID-19 hotspots.

  • The ACT ordered anyone who had been to Perth's metropolitan area since 25 January to get tested, and enter a five-day self-quarantine.
  • Queensland required 2 weeks of hotel quarantine for any new arrivals who had been in the locked down areas. Those already in Qld, but were in a WA hotspot area since 26 January had to be tested, and isolate until receiving a negative result.
  • Travellers to the NT from WA hotspots underwent 14 days of mandatory supervised quarantine.
  • Victoria did not allow entry to anyone who was in any of the WA red zones since 25 January without an exception, exemption or permitted worker permit.
  • South Australia did not immediately close its border with WA, but airline passengers from WA arriving in Adelaide were told to self-quarantine, and get a COVID-19 test on days one, five and twelve.
The lockdown was lifted on 5 February, but some rules, such as mandatory mask wearing, were maintained in the Peel and Perth regions. The last lockdown specific restrictions were lifted at 12:01 a.m. on 14 February.

Yet after this Aussies were still optimistic, Queensland had just opened it's state border to everyone again, except to Western Australia. Then of course that optimism bites the Aussies in the ass yet again.
On 3 February in Victoria, a quarantine hotel worker at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, a "resident support officer" involved in the Australian Open tennis quarantine program, was found to have COVID-19. From 11:59 pm Victoria immediately reintroduced some rules, tightened some, and put off imminent easing of some restrictions. The plan to, from 8 February (Monday), allow up to 75 per cent of office workers back into their workplaces was put on hold. Masks were mandatory inside, and only 15 persons are allowed at private events. The man visited a number of businesses from 29 January to 1 February, but was able to give contact tracers a detailed list of places and times. Anyone who was at those places at those times, must be tested, and isolate for 14 days. Testing site hours were extended from 4 February, opening at 8 am. More drive-through lanes were added, and additional testing sites opened
Turned out this guy had a super new scary "UK variant" of Covid. So what did the Australian federal government decide to do? Increase the number of international arrivals of course!
On 12 February Victoria announced that it would again enter lockdown across the entire state for 5 days from 11:59 pm that night. This was in response to the Melbourne Airport Holiday Inn quarantine hotel outbreak. By 12 February, the Holiday Inn cluster had grown to 14. The Australian Open tennis competition continued, but without any spectators. This will apply to all professional sporting events. In response all other states and territories placed travel restrictions upon Victoria.
On the 21st of Feb vaccinations begin to start and NSW unbans dancing!

On the 2nd of March it was announced that Australia would close it's international borders until the 17th of June.
On 4 March a health worker in Queensland experienced a serious anaphylactic reaction after receiving the Pfizer vaccine and was admitted into intensive care. The person had a history of anaphylaxis. They made a full recovery on the same day and were discharged from hospital
On March 17 despite Australians having hardly anyone vaccinated, Scotty from marketing decided to send off one million doses of our Astra-Zeneca vaccines to Papa-New Guinea.

On 2 April a 44-year-old Victorian man was admitted to a Melbourne hospital when he got serious thrombosis and a low platelet count after getting the AZ vaccine, he got blood clots in multiple organs. Health officials warned everyone if you get headaches or other symptoms 4-20 days after receiving the vaccine to seek help. More cases of clotting was linked to this vaccine.
On 8 April 2021 the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) and the TGA met to review concerns over the AstraZeneca vaccine. Australia's Chief Medical Officer, Paul Kelly, reassured about the safety of the vaccine, but it was being reviewed. ATAGI advised the Federal Government to use the AstraZeneca vaccine only for those over 50-years-of-age as they confirmed the rare side-effect of blood clotting could occur in younger people.
Four more people suffered complications due to the Covid vaccines.

23rd of March Western Australia enter yet another lockdown and 3 more cases of vaccine complications reported.

By the 6th of May another 5 cases of complications arise from the AZ vaccine.
9th of May New South Wales bring back in the mask mandate.
By 27 May the Victorian outbreak had risen to 26 cases. As a result of the "growing outbreak" Victoria entered its fourth lockdown, statewide, as of 11:59 pm on 27 May, initially for seven days until 11:59pm on Thursday 3 June, but the lockdown was later extended another 7 days. On 10 June, at 11:59 pm, the lockdown ended though some restrictions, such as travel limits (though expanded to 25 km), remained in force.
On May 28th Melbourne residents finally grew some balls and held an anti-lockdown protest.

Victoria enters lockdown, again.
On 2 June the 7 day Victorian lockdown was extended for another 7 days. Some restrictions were eased, the 5 km limit was extended to 10 km, school attendance allowed for years 11 and 12, authorised work included some outdoors work. Use of the Service Victoria QR code check-in required across Victoria for places like supermarkets and shops.
On 3 June the Federal Government announced that people who lose work as a result of lockdowns, of at least 7 days length, may be eligible for a A$325 or A$500 per week Temporary COVID Disaster Payment.
By the 6th of June only 5 million doses had been administered. Mainly due to the incompetence from Scotty from marketing
What's gone wrong with Australia's vaccine rollout?
While progress has recently accelerated, roughly 3% of the population has been fully vaccinated.
Supply shortages and mismanagement have been blamed for the delays.
June 10 an Australian dies from vaccine complications.

Wankers from Bondi, New South Wales begin the downfall of New South Wales. Everyone over reacts.
Owing to the growing Bondi cluster the other States and Territories reacted:

  • Australian Capital Territory: from 4pm on 23 June, the ACT Government placed restrictions on recent travellers from Sydney, Bayside, Canada Bay, Inner West, Randwick, Waverley and Woollahra. Schools and day care centres remained open. Restaurants, bars, hotels and similar venues remained open for takeaway food only
More states enter lockdown on the 29th
On 29 June in Queensland from 6pm, the existing lockdown in Brisbane was expanded to new areas, they went into lockdown for 3 days, till 6pm on 2 July. This was because a casual clerical worker from a hospital in Brisbane was infected and visited another city.

With lockdowns in Sydney, Darwin, Perth and Brisbane, on 29 June more than 12 million of Australia's population was in lockdown

On 7 July in NSW, the lockdown in Greater Sydney was extended for 7 days until 12:01am on 17 July.
On 11 July in NSW, the death of a woman in her 90s, the first COVID-19 death in Australia since mid-April, was reported, that same day another woman died in South Australia due to vaccine complications.
On the 11th New South Wales dictator Gladys Berejiklian also announced further restrictions
1629767447924.png

Among other rule changes affecting funerals (only 10 may attend), tightened face mask rules were announced, which came into effect on 13 July 2021 in Greater Sydney. From then, a face mask had to be worn in indoor common property areas of rented residential premises.

Also on July 11, in Victoria the state closed its border from 11:59pm to all New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory residents. This was in an attempt to prevent the new delta variant entering the state. 'Border bubble' arrangements for border towns remained in place.
On the 11th of July despite people having complications and dying from the crappy vaccine they supplied the Federal government started the "Arm Yourself" campaign (funny coming from a government who takes away their citizens guns and freedom) to encourage people to take the deadly clot shot.

July 15 Victoria enters snap 5 day lockdown. This would be the third lockdown in Victoria, just in 2021 alone and the fifth since the start of the pandemic.

On July 17 NSW impose further restrictions on peoples movement.
On 17 July in NSW, from 11:59pm, movement restrictions in Western Sydney were increased, and impending further business shut-downs and restrictions were announced. From that day most workers living in Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield and Liverpool were not permitted to leave those LGAs for work. Carpooling, except with family members was banned in those three LGAs. After the new stay-at-home rules were announced, there was a protest that afternoon at Paul Keating Park in Bankstown against the added lockdown rules for Canterbury-Bankstown, Fairfield and Liverpool. Two people were arrested and charged.

July 19th New South Wales start to enter more authoritarian levels of shit.
Also on 19 July in NSW, from 12:01am in Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Shellharbour and Wollongong, many non-essential retail businesses were closed and only allowed to operate as take-away, home delivery, or "click and collect". From the same time building construction work, and in residential premises, cleaning services, repair, and non-urgent maintenance were all "paused". All the new restrictions are scheduled to cease at 11:59pm on 30 July. Also from 19 July in Sydney, all public transport services (train, bus and ferry) will operate on a Sunday timetable for at least 7 days.

The restrictions included, only outdoor dining allowed, non-essential retail closed, one person per four square metres at indoor venues, private gatherings capped at 10. Masks were required for: high-risk settings, public transport and shared indoor spaces. Events requiring COVID management plans will be cancelled. The restrictions were due to be reviewed on 23 July
On the 21st of July, New South Wales start extending these stay at home orders to Regional New South Wales who up until this point had been exempt from them but due to people from the lockdown fleeing to the Regional areas to escape the lockdowns Covid was then starting to spread there.

On July 22 two more deaths were linked to the AZ vaccine.

On 24 July 2021, there were anti-lockdown protests in Brisbane, Melbourne, and in Sydney where several people were arrested, 90 infringement notices issued and 57 people were charged. The protest march in Sydney was unauthorised and breached NSW public health orders.

By 29 July in NSW, there were 239 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19, the highest daily number of new infections since the pandemic began. Restrictions were again tightened that day, mostly in Blacktown, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield Georges River, Liverpool, and Parramatta (the "8 LGAs of concern"), and NSW Police requested 300 Australian Defence Force assistance to help in compliance and logistics.

On 31 July in Queensland from 4pm parts of Queensland enter a snap 3 day lockdown after only 6 locally acquired cases.

On 5 August in Victoria, in response to six new cases in the community, the Victorian Government announced their sixth lockdown, commencing that day at 8pm for seven days. On 11 August the lockdown was extended for 7 days, on 16 August for 14 days with a curfew added, then on 21 August regional Victoria joined Melbourne in lockdown.
The total number of deaths in Australia reached 938 since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.

By the 9th of July more of NSW enters harsher restrictions.

11th of August, Victoria announce the extension of the lockdown for another 7 days, this will become a common trend amongst all states.

On 16 August in the Northern Territory (NT) the Greater Darwin and Katherine regions went into a snap lockdown due to end at mid-day on 19 August. This followed one new COVID case, a post-quarantine international worker arrival, who was infectious in the community for several days
On 16 August in Victoria, their lockdown, already extended a week, was extended for another 14 days, with an overnight curfew reinstated and an end date of 2 September.
Also on 21 August 2021 there were anti-lockdown protests in Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Up to 4,000 people marched in Melbourne with over 200 arrested. The other protests were much smaller. In Sydney the protest was countered by a pre-planned police response of over 1,500 officers and roadblocks on major roads into the central business district. About 250 protesters got into the city and over 45 people were arrested. One of its main organisers was jailed in NSW the day before the march for breaching public health orders by travelling to Sydney from Queensland

You cannot leave your home other than for one of the five following reasons:

  • shopping for necessary goods and services
  • caregiving or compassionate reasons, including medical care or to get a covid-19 test

  • exercise (once a day for 2 hours)

A stay-at-home curfew is in place for Metropolitan Melbourne. Between 9:00pm and 5:00am, you cannot leave your home (or the home of your intimate partner or bubble buddy) other than for limited reasons, including:

  • authorised work
  • health and medical purposes
  • care and support of a child or someone with special needs
  • in an emergency or to escape harm
If you are in Regional Victoria, the curfew does not apply. If you travel to metropolitan Melbourne from regional Victoria for a permitted reason, you will be required to adhere to the curfew whilst you are in metropolitan Melbourne.

Victorians may also leave home to visit their intimate partner or their single social bubble buddy outside curfew hours, or in an emergency – including those at risk of family violence at any time.

You must stay within 5km of your home for shopping and exercise. This limit does not apply to permitted work or education, when giving or receiving care, getting a COVID-19 vaccination or visiting an intimate partner or your single social bubble buddy.

You can leave your home in an emergency or if there is family violence.

These actions will protect our loved ones, friends, colleagues, health care workers and the community.
  • Anyone 12 years and over must wear a fitted face mask whenever they leave their home, indoors or outdoors, unless a lawful exception applies.
  • Face masks do not need to be worn indoors or outdoors if you are working alone unless another person enters that indoor or outdoor space.
  • You can remove your mask in a public place when consuming food, medicine or non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Face masks are recommended for primary school aged children, but they are not mandatory.
  • Necessary goods and services include supermarkets, pharmacies, butchers, green grocers, bottle shops, petrol stations, post offices, banks, food stores, newsagents, liquor stores, and pet stores. Supermarkets will continue to stay open to allow people to buy food, so there is no need to stock up on groceries. Other retail shops will only be available for delivery or contactless click and collect, and authorised workers may attend onsite to facilitate these orders.
  • Cafes and restaurants will only be able to offer take-away and delivery services.
  • You can only travel up to 5km from your home for shopping and exercising. You should stay as close to your home as possible, for example, shopping at the nearest supermarket.
  • For some people, the nearest essential goods and services will be more than 5km away. In this situation, you may travel beyond 5km to the nearest provider.
  • A person is permitted to drive a person with whom they reside, if it is not otherwise practical for that person to leave the house for a permitted reason.
  • Only one person per household can leave home to get necessary goods and services. They can leave once a day, which means people can’t make multiple shopping trips. You should limit the time you spend away from home. If you are unable to leave a child, children or a person in your care unattended, they may accompany you. You may accompany someone to shop for support, if necessary, for example, an elderly relative.
  • If you are taking a child, children or a person in your care with you when you shop you should not leave them in the car unattended while you shop. Leaving children unaccompanied in a vehicle is an offence in Victoria.
  • Hotel and accommodation providers will be able to stay open to support guests already staying onsite. No new bookings can be made, unless for a permitted reason – for example someone who requires accommodation as an authorised worker.
  • If you are not at your principal place of residence at the beginning of lockdown, it’s encouraged that you stay where you are for the duration of the lockdown.
  • Funerals will be able to go ahead indoors and outdoors with up to ten people, plus those required to conduct the funeral. Weddings will need to be postponed, unless end of life or other exceptional circumstances apply.
  • You cannot leave your house for necessary goods and services during the curfew unless they are for health and medical purposes or if you are travelling to or from work as an authorised worker.
  • If you live alone or are a single parent you can create a ‘single social bubble’ by nominating one other person to be a part of your bubble.
  • You can have the person you form a bubble with visit your home.
  • Your nominated person can be from a household or share house, and you are also able to visit them in their home, but only when they are alone. If both you and your single social buddy are single parents, your children can be a part of your bubble.
  • You can stay with your intimate partner or bubble buddy while the curfew is in effect, but you must already be at their house when the curfew time begins.
You can leave home to exercise, but there are limits:

  • You must not travel more than 5km from where you live to exercise. You must limit your outdoor exercise to no more than 2 hours per day.
  • Gyms, pools, community centres, entertainment venues and libraries are closed.
  • Outdoor playgrounds, outdoor skateparks and outdoor gym equipment are closed.
  • You can exercise with one other person, plus dependants, as long as you both do not travel more than 5km from your home.
  • Please use common sense and limit the number of people you see in person right now. It is safer to connect with friends and family using phone calls, social media and video calls.
  • If you are exercising with someone else, you should keep at least 1.5 metres distance between you. Don’t hug, kiss or shake hands.
  • If you are a parent or guardian who is caring for a child or someone who cannot be left unattended, then they may go with you.
  • Recreational activities that require the use of a facility will not be allowed. Facilities such as tennis clubs, bowls clubs, shooting ranges and golf clubs are closed. Outdoor activities that can be undertaken without accessing a facility, such as hunting, are permitted within the 5km and 2 hour limits.
  • You cannot leave your house during the curfew for exercise

There are some other exceptions to wearing face masks, including for children under 12 (unless they are at school in Grade 7) and people with particular medical conditions or disabilities. If in doubt, wear a face mask.

There are no longer any capacity restrictions for venues and events. This means private gatherings, concerts, sporting games, and weddings can go ahead at full capacity.

Measures remain in place to keep these events safe:

Businesses require a COVID Safety Plan and must maintain a contact register.
Events with more than 500 patrons are required to complete a COVID Event Checklist or Plan.
You can help keep WA safe by checking in at businesses and venues using SafeWA, or by leaving your details on a contact register.

Most businesses and venues are required to maintain a contact register. The WA Government’s SafeWA app is an easy way for people to check-in at businesses. A manual contact register must also be available.

Contact registers are essential in assisting contact tracers to identify people who may have been exposed to a positive case.
Travel to and from interstate and New Zealand is permitted as part of WA’s controlled border arrangement, subject to conditions.

Everyone arriving must complete a G2G PASS before travelling.
If you are required to quarantine upon entering WA, the G2G Now app is encouraged to enable virtual quarantine checks.
Fuck off no one cares about Tazzie cunts
It should be noted that in almost all of Australia anytime you go anywhere you are required to sign in with a government issued QR code.

Edit:
The numbers that triggered all this bullshit

Legitimate numbers or news stories regarding vaccine complications are becoming harder to come by as the government fucked up and now wants everyone to receive the clot shot but here are some stuff that can be found with ease.
AZ claims another life
Government originally told young people to wait for Pfizer, when they fucked up and Pfizer wasn't coming they back flipped and said everyone should get it
They tell you to go get AZ but make you sign a consent form which actually says in it Pfizer is preferred
Trying to implement a vaccine mandate. Get the jab or no freedom for you when that time finally comes
Rightfully so, many people are worried about receiving AstraZeneca vaccine, so what does the government do? Change the name of it to try and trick people into taking the clot shot

Not any different than laws that US states could enact themselves. (As long as they don't violate Constitutional rights, the states are fair game to make any laws they wish, not that they "should", but they can).

Also these laws weren't signed "dictatorially" even if the people find them to be intrusive - too often people just use terms like "dictatorship/tyranny/totalitarian" for "anything they don't like".

When are people gonna realize peaceful protests do nothing?

Chanting and holding signs wont change the governments mind

Hopefully August 31st if the truck drivers don't cuck out. Talks of it is being censored on social media the only place with anything on it really is 4Chan so it's probably just a fucking LARP hopefully they can meme it into real life though

The truck drivers doing something meme never pans out.

What most of you are missing is that, despite these utterly disproportionate draconian measures, most Australian citizens are supporting the actions.

So as far as I am concerned, keep them locked down. It’s clearly what they want.

I think its more about the mandatory use of AstraZeneca Jabs which are not effective at all

i doubt many care about lockdowns. Working from home and shit is pretty cool at first.

It's fucking disgusting honestly. All you need to do it head over to fucking Reddit to see how many fuck wits want things restricted further. Funny from what I saw they said that dude getting arrested for the Christchurch video was such an overstretch but support this and worse. Those absolute shit cunts don't even want things to open back up fully if most people are vaccinated with the clot shots.

Do people actually give a shit about the QR codes or is more a "fiddle with your phone for a bit and the underpaid uncaring staff move on" type of deal?
Most people take it seriously although I've just been using a screen shot of one I did at the beginning of the pandemic that I have saved they only really glance at it when you flash your phone to them, however if the police where to look at it you'd be pretty fucked.

No mention from MSM either on the death toll thanks to suicide because of the lockdowns and people having their livelihoods stripped from them

RIP Aus Null

Edit:
These are the numbers that triggered the lockdowns, more people have died from suicide in Australia then covid, nevermind hospitals being able to cope with covid they can't cope with the mental health crisis that is real and out of control
