Twitch (formerly Justin.tv) is a famous live-streaming platform owned by Amazon in which you can find various types of content starting from gaming to IRL streams. Twitch is well known for its awful service and dumb decisions as well as the toxic community surrounding it, which includes their top streamers. Here are some of the top streamers

Poggers Community / BTTV / Twitch Streamer Clique / "LSF" Twitch Streamer Clique
Note: Hasan Piker, Pokimane, and Minx weren't mentioned due to the fact that they have their own threads but keep in mind that they are still part of this community

Some streamers of the Poggers Community at ShitCamp 2021
Poggers Community is a loose and informal creator clique of English-speaking Twitch streamers and YouTube streamers who regularly collaborate on each other's live streams and videos and heavily share audiences and communities. The creators in the clique originally connected through the "Livestream Fail" subreddit", with each streamer in the clique reviewing the Twitch clips on said subreddit which depict other members of the clique. While some streamers in the Poggers community still review LSF on their live streams, the clique's association with it has declined over time. The clique is also known for its chats' heavy usage of emote extensions for browsers such as BTTV, FFZ, and 7TV. Creators included in this community are the following:

Felix Lengyel / xQc / xQcOW

xq.jpg
Felix Lengyel aka xQc is a French Canadian English-speaking comedy, gaming, and reaction Twitch streamer. He live streams on Twitch daily, where he averages around 10-20 hours and averages around 70,000 viewers; since late 2019, he has generally been considered to be the most popular streamer on the internet with the exceptions of Minecraft Twitch streamers at their peak and the YouTube streamer iShowSpeed at his peak. Félix streams a wide variety of content, such as gaming lets plays and reacting to YouTube videos. He has had a lot of controversies over the course of his career with the biggest of the recent ones being his public breakup with his now ex-girlfriend "Adept". This breakup caused a legal battle over the home and money (Archive), police coming into Felix's house (Archive), and some lulzy moments from the stream

He actually put Kendrick Lamar's song during a breakup

Matthew Rinaudo / Mizkif
632b49302fcea649870231.jpg
Matthew Rinaudo aka Mizkif is an American comedy Twitch streamer. He live streams on Twitch, averaging 5-7 hours and formerly averaging around 30,000 viewers, where he mostly provides commentary over topical internet culture and drama. He also plays video games and reacts to YouTube videos. Somewhere around the beginning of September 2020, there has been a lot of drama on the platform from multiple streamers. A streamer called Sliker was exposed for scamming 300.000$ from fans and streamers by lying about his bank account being locked/other various reasons.

Sliker was given a platform by Mizkif by featuring him on his streams. The scammed money was used by Sliker to gamble. This caused Mizkif, Pokimane, and other streamers to talk about gambling on stream. Trainwrecks (known for gambling on stream and is one of the biggest streamers on the platform) called Mizkif out for focusing on the wrong thing (the gambling part instead of giving him a platform). This caused Mizkif to shoot back with a past controversy of trainwrecks about some crypto scam. Since streamers have big egos trainwrecks said over a tweet something along the lines "Are you going to blackmail me too like you did with that sexually assaulted girl". Which caused the whole controversy. (Archive)

Tweet that started the whole thing
A female; streamer (Adrianah Lee), was hanging out with Mizkif, CrazySlick, and others. At a certain point, the girl blacked out. I don't know if they were drinking alcohol or if she has medical issues. CrazySlick said he checked her pulse on her wrist while she claimed he was touching her breasts (Archive). Miz/Maya/others pressured her into not coming out with the story. Mizkif also downplayed it to ON STREAM a while ago saying no one cares and it isn't that big of a deal which is pretty disgusting. Adrianah Lee also stated that twitlonger she posted about what happened was “approved” by Maya and Mizkif, meaning the story about the female streamer was already known but it was downplayed as 'inappropriate' and that's when she released her initial twitlonger. After the whole thing came out a bunch of streamers got together in the Discord call to try to sort this thing out (Archive). The whole thing was a fucking disaster with the absolute highlight of it being when popular streamer "Trainwreckstv" decided to take a break from the call to yell at some kid in Rust :story:
The call was somehow leaked to Destiny and he streamed it fully on his youtube channel, which granted him a lot of viewers with some streamers like Hasan Piker and xQc restreaming it. The whole drama is basically like how people from Hollywood would ignore atrocious acts due to how much money is involved. This is just a quick TLDR on the situation if you want to know about the whole thing you can check this video.
Another notable drama was when a streamer who is a part of OTK named Emiru "accidentally" leaks discord DMs between her and Mizkif. In these DMs, Mizkif berates Emiru for her content and appears to be controlling towards her. It is believed by a lot of people that this "accident" is a secret S.O.S signal from Emiru since she and Mizkif live in the same house, another thing backing up this theory is that during the stream you can see her trying her best not to cry. After these logs got leaked it was posted on Twitter by a couple of people but suddenly every one of these people who posted screenshots of these logs got suspended for unknown reasons. Full drama with details can be found here:

He is also massively hated by the majority of the Kiwi farms having his own thread on a Multimedia subforum where people criticize his videos and content

qtcinderella-anthony-padilla-interview.jpg
Blaire aka QTCinderella is an American Twitch streamer, specializing in gamer content, having just chats, and cooking/baking content, in addition to being a co-host, and co-creator of the podcasts: "Fear&" and "Wine about It". But her greatest achievement is the organizing and hosting of the 2022 & 2023 Streamer Awards, which is basically any other awards show but dedicated to streamers. This ceremony became quite controversial due to its poor hosting, bad jokes, and the most famous one is canceling the party due to Blaire's "best friend" Minx getting drunk
She's also one of the people who was a victim of Atrioc AI drama (Archive) (Basically Atrioc was jerking off to AI deepfake porn of his fellow streamers who he sometimes collaborated with) and made a response where she cried. You've probably seen it because Ethan Klein infamously laughed at it during his live show

Asmongold_in_2022.jpg

Video by Memology 101 highlighting his hypocrisy
He is also known for his absolutely atrocious lifestyle, which caused him to have serious health issues

W community is a loose and informal creator clique of English-speaking Twitch streamers, YouTube streamers, and YouTubers who regularly collaborate on each other's live streams and videos and heavily share audiences and communities. The name is derived from the increased tendency to describe "wins" as "Ws" and "losses" as "Ls" in the gaming space in the past few years, particularly among Zoomers. The W community is notable for its predominantly black fanbase and creators as there historically have been very few black content creators online. They increasingly collaborate with the streamers in the Poggers community, who have generally been welcoming to the W community.

Kai Carlo Cenat III / Kai Cenat
D.jpg
Kai Carlo Cenat III aka Kai Cenat is an American Youtuber and Twitch streamer from New York who is currently the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of all time. Throughout his career, he was banned numerous times for a lot of different reasons (Archive). This first ban came when Cenat was browsing through his own subreddit on stream, in which an explicit photograph was accidentally broadcast to his viewers. The lack of intention behind this on Cenat's part led to the small one-day sentence. The second ban was for the exact same reason as the first. The third ban was for the comments he made about Twitch, which Twitch interpreted as threats. The fourth ban was due to the incident where Cenat passed out on stream after consuming marijuana edibles (Archive), with this being a clear breach of Twitch's on-stream narcotics policy. Cenat's fifth and most recent ban came in April 2023, this time lasting a whole week. This particular ban reportedly came from the streamer's actions while streaming Grand Theft Auto 5, with Twitch citing Cenat's "repeated explicit simulated activity" in-game as breaking its terms of service
Also after getting the record for the most subscribed Twitch streamer, he got this gift from Twitch

R/Livestreamfails
Без названия (1).jpeg
R/Livestreamfails is a popular subreddit dedicated to sharing clips of funny, embarrassing, or otherwise notable moments from Twitch and other streaming services. Every time any drama happens in live streaming circles the number one place to gossip about it is Livestreamfails, because of this a lot of streamers used this subreddit to control narratives with the help of the subreddit jannies. A good example of this is the incident where they were exposed for their favoritism of certain streamers (Archive). Basically, someone posted an old discord leak from the small female streamer named Jenna (Archive), these posts typically get deleted quickly but this wasn't the case here. The post went up for 18+ hours and managed to make it into the r/all and as a result of this post, it got a lot of attention from big Youtubers who reported on it along with articles written about it. And then discord logs were posted of the famous streamer xQc and suddenly the post was deleted after 30 minutes. Jannies also perma banned everyone who is questioning their true motives of how they go about moderating their subreddit.

Another notable drama was when the mod for LSF quit and decided to leak all discord DMS (Archive) (Full Chat logs Archive), which included harassment, doxxing & jailbait.

It should be noted Twitch as a platform besides its wannabe Hollywood atmosphere for its top performing streamers and tendency for people to only ever get big if they know someone already popular because discoverability on the platform is awful it is also very top heavy like many other social media platforms when it comes to who makes money.

That is to say while there is people who make a lot of revenue as seen in the August 2019 to October 2021 Twitch payout leaks:

For smaller streamers the amount that is made is much, much smaller if they make any at all:

nice, i have been waiting for a thread like this
most large streamers on those platforms arent enough to have their own thread, but theyre bad enough to need a place like this for it
and the ones you listed definitely belong here and many already have threads
really cool work, a nice write up for a good LSF style thread, "imitation of Hollywood" indeed

Good idea for a thread. I would suggest though pulling out the ones that already have their own threads here, since do we need two threads on Pokimane (only one I've heard of, apart from the turkroach).
There must be other morons who run their mouths more than their brains on there.

Really good OP. These are some of the most insufferable people I have ever seen. The Poggers community seems to just be filled with fake people who morally grandstand and the Wigger/Nigger Community is just a bunch of annoying loud people.
Only tolerable or funny guy in the OP seems to be Jschlatt I remmember seeing him ban every single minecraft fan on his twitch.

Good idea! There's a lot of nonsense on Twitch from smaller streamers who make no money on the site as well, the thread could serve for a place to talk about them if something interesting happened.

FaZe Clan is also interesting, the D-list actress Grace Van Dien joined them (after leaving acting) and then they were rude/she whined/her Twitter is full of acting chat again.

Great idea for a thread as a lot of these people are only about halfway deserving on their own (like moistcr1tikal). Didn't even realize the "poggers" community shit was a thing until xQc cheated in that chess tournament and Cr1tikal gave him a pass despite burying other livestreamers the instant they're caught cheating. Thick as thieves.

IIrc xqc does a similar thing where he has a huge amount of used fast food waste / packaging behind his monitors, and a really filthy desk. But probably no where near as bas as Asmongold. Still disgusting.

This thread was long overdue.

The most pathetic are the reactfags who do nothing but steal other people's hard work by "reacting" to them. xQc, Ludwig, Hasan Piker, Asmongold, penguinz0, all pure filth.
Jerma is the only one I follow somewhat. Mostly the monthly recaps. The others are all insufferable.

Really long overdue thread, great job OP. While a few streamers like Hasan, Minx, and Poki have their own threads the overt cliquishness of both formal and informal streaming groups inevitably leads to drama involving a number of different individuals, many of whom wouldn't really be deserving of a dedicated thread by themselves. So having a place to collate everyone's info is useful.

Plus it means there's somewhere to post in cases where some nobody gets their fifteen minutes of fame for doing something particularly retarded before sinking back into obscurity.

This thread is long overdue.

Feels good to see it.

The atrioc drama is so funny.
That nigga was looking at deepfake porn of his co-workers.
He then cried in front of a camera with his fiance to apologize.

He also said he did not mean to do it and just clicked some weird porn link.
