There used to be more trannies here than there are now (if there are any), right? To my understanding as more and more tranny lolcows were unearthed and people saw how they're all massive pieces of shit the general sentiment against them grew, and with no moderation to curtail this like there would be in other online spaces all the troons who posted here practically got chased out. I could very well be talking out my arse right now, I don't know.
I never conceived of the idea that this site ever had a notable tranny presence. I think many of them still use it, it's not difficult to hide your power level, but I struggle imagining somebody having any sort of LGBT flag on their profile here unironically. Did people used to be that much in the open about it on this site like 10 years ago?

From what I gathered one ex-mod with a sleeping dangaronpa character was a tranny. The author of the tranny sideshows apparently also trooned out. Im too new to know first hand, but from what I've seen they went from tracking individual trannies to hating trannies in general. They are thin skinned and love to shove their tranny cock down everyone's throat, so I wouldn't be surprised if they mostly left.

There are definitely trans users but unless they are the sort with zero opsec who powerlevel all over the place, they wouldn't do something as retarded as having dumbass flags. I do think there are fewer than there used to be, especially after the keffals kerfuffle and Dong-Gone's jihad. Things more or less went from critical to mostly hostile to nearly universally hostile, even from people who didn't give a shit about troons at first.

The little i Internet theory seems to be happening backwards. Instead of all the countries isolating themselves, the world is isolating the UK.
Sorta like 28 Days After, etc., except instead of zombies, we get all the Muslims and niggers (bonus: scousers) on an island and first contain it, then solve the nuclear weapons problem by detonating all of them there.

considering the other ongoing happenings recently the internet is dying a slow painful death this year, sad to see it finally happen.
Just imagine, we can finally rid ourselves of this mental prison.
Those are also the most insufferable people who don't last in other places, and are the ones who would samefag in, and sometimes occasionally dead, generals for hours. It impresses me how long they can keep it up. We had a few enter, not that they tried to samefag/sock, but they acted obnoxious as they did on the website. They either got bored and left after no one gave them attention, or got banned like the Marie Rose faggot did.

Good riddance to a website that should have been put down sooner if it does die before the decade. I'm more cautious with my prediction and think it will be in the early to mid 2030s it will finally die. It bleeds more than it gains.
In the 4chan affiliated groups I been in (On Steam for example since late 2000's community update), you'd usually get a steady trickle of maladjusted autists who, if not dealt with immediately, eventually root themselves deep into the community with it acting as their livelihood. And once you do get rid of them, it would be far too late and they'd have these colossal mental breakdowns ala the internet version of CWC being banned from The Game Place. Funny enough, all the biggest trouble makers usually have directly or indirectly admitted that they were banned from over a dozen communities beforehand because of their bizarre behavior.
And 4chan as a whole, if not the entirety of imageboard culture, I'd personally blame the ironic posting culture -which we all indulged in- that cultivated since the beginning of 2008-10, which was emphasized by this quote meant to sum up /b/ back in 2009:
Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe that they're in good company.
And the slower a board, usually there's a higher chance of better conversations. Not always, but I wouldn't mind the speed of a /v/ circa 2007-08. /vm/ is probably one of the few boards I actually go to anymore. Still relatively new, slow, and threads last for months. And while some have unfortunately been graced with a resident schizo roosting nonstop to derail a thread as much as possible, you can still filter them out and engage with others while not fearing detailed topics will be archived to make room for 10-20 ebin outrage culture meme threads.

plus the unspoken rules are more akin to the old internet, as in "it doesn't matter who or what you are, just what you post" combined with the obvious sensibility to not have your posts from here of all places trace back to your real identity.

Even on /tg/ half of the generals are dead and just get bumped by the OP or shills.
/tg/ feels especially dead to the point it feels like an altchan. shame what happened to it...

Amazingly enough these are some of the most worthwhile threads on the entire site which is really saying something...
probably the last bastion of OC (which incredibly ironic was produced by "bots")

I always avoided those communities and "sekrit clubs" that would form off of the website, especially if it was on trooncord. I even mentioned something along the lines of them regretting it to a group before. 80% of the time the community becomes all about the personalities in the sekrit club and mass meltdowns daily in the thread. The sekrit club will claim "We don't come to 4chan anymore" but then constantly raid the general. It was an issue before discord came around, but it really got worse since Discord got real popular. Now every part of 4chan has it's own discord group shitting things up, and eventually falling apart where the logs get leaked which always consist of the same things like faggy gossip, infighting, horrifically enough erping, and people obsessively talking about 4chan despite claiming they don't visit anymore.

It always took one group of these faggots derailing everything. Whenever someone brags about how many times they've gotten banned, it says a lot. I get laughing about stupid bans one gets like racism outside of /b/, or doing something stupid when younger, but if you're on your 30th ban for shitting up everything, that says a lot about the person. I even feel the slower boards are shit too like /trv/. What once discussed traveling now became people fantasizing as sex tourists, yellow fever, and people crying about how they can't hookup on vacation. Any general involving Asians especially invokes a disgusted reaction in me.

For context: they don't mention out of boasting, it usually happens because they befriend someone else and it was told privately or randomly brought up in a way where it's not meant to pivot attention to them. Just random things you pick up about them. And cliques forming around a dominant personality are unfortunately common wherever you go, It's been that way especially in internet forums since time immemorial. I don't use discord though so much of my experience in past 20 years regarding offshoot 4chan groups is either pertaining to Steam group/chats or individual forums like /tg/station for ss13 (in the 2010s before it got besieged by troons) for example
