Unbelievable that they used this video for the SKG entry, it's possibly the least flattering shot of him... ever. Anyone with a kikepedia account that could be bothered to replace it with something... less unnerving?

If I were to guess, it's because Wikipedia doesn't use any images that aren't public domain or explicitly granted for Wikipedia use is they can help it. That image being from a greenscreen video is implicitly for public use, so it's allowed. If Ross were to supply a better image explicitly, they'd change it.

Here's a better greenscreen. :smug:

was there ever a time when he put out monthly content in his entire online career?
Uploads each year Ctrl+F "X years ago"

22 this year

I dont even remember how long I have been following him, at least 10 years. But he was pretty consistent getting a Game Dungeon out once a month and 1 or 2 Freemans Mind.
It wasnt until he created the Dead Games News Channel and focused on the movie that things changed.

If anyone's interested, Paul (The actor that played the main character Curtis in Phantasmagoria 2) did a talk with Ross and it's really cool hearing about all the stuff that went between the two behind the scenes, it's really heartwarming
It's still retarded that YouTube made him take down the Phantasmagoria 2 video despite it being age-restricted. That's still one of my all-time favorite Game Dungeons.

Anybody else think it is a bit of a shame how in the initial SKG and ECI announcement videos, Ross had inadvertently changed the way he filmed himself for greenscreening (a bit too overexposed? different lighting conditions? weird srs bsns facial expression), and then since SKG blew up, the thumbnails and screenshots from those videos are the only images people use to display Ross? He looks like some kind of professional wrestler or something in that specific image.

Compare that to how he looks in the Beg-A-Thon video, granted that was almost a decade ago, but the colour and expression is still more similar to recent video chats / announcements videos:

If Ross did decide to basically commit to SKG movement full time I'd understand but I'd be disappointed. So I'm glad he's making the "selfish" but sensible decision to bow out after the initiative. The best scenario is for someone at least as dedicated and at least as internet famous to step into his shoes so he can get back to making videos with no worries about SKG in the future past the initiative.

He has always said he did not want to make it his thing and was looking forward to moving on once the signatures were all in.
