I remember something about him saying he hated/was scared of Carnivale masks (or those theater sad/happy face masks), but I don't recall seeing anything where he directly mentions he hates pineapples. The only thing I saw with that was that one satirical comic by somebody else about the behatted blue bear that hates pineapples.

He might have actually had hair that far in the past. Of course, it says something about him that it's so hard to imagine him having hair. I know I personally have to make an effort to imagine child Dobson as anything other than fat, bald, adult Dobson only shorter.
For what it's worth Dobson's hair started thinning before 20 if his personal college portrayals are any indication. He might very well began showing signs of balding before graduating high school.
