Anime News Network (ANN), Christopher Macdonald & Co. - "Unbiased" Reporting on All Things Anime Related By Snobbish Quebec-Based Web Company. Acquired by Kadokawa.

Lynzee recently reviewed Gunbuster on the backlog column she started doing on ANN a few months back, and unlike Caitlin she does talk about the fanservice.

At least she acknowledges there's a difference between real-life minors and drawn fictional characters, I guess.

Nick's mom has set up a GoFundMe for the funeral expenses: https://archive.fo/E81Pt

Multiple ANN clique people donating, with the highest donations being $200 by Lynzee and $300 by Macdonald. Though Caitlin gave $200 for his house fire fund in 2021, this time around she only had a tenner to spare.

Per Lynzee on the forums, a memorial article is indeed coming today or tomorrow.

He was obese and probably didn't do much exercise. He had it rough when his house went up in flames a few years ago. I'm sure the family won't disclose how he died, though. Keep on obsessing over anime feet pics and idol groups wherever you are, Nick.
Around two weeks before he passed, he explained a break in episode reviews as him having a bad stomach virus. Although he recovered enough to get back to writing, I do wonder if that ties to his death in any way

ANN has indeed been finishing off the episode reviews Nick had been doing with other writers. AJ has taken over MHA, (((Rebecca))) reviewed Otokonoko's finale for Nick, Dahlia went to ANN's newest reviewer Jeremy "Aggretsuko is Marxist" Tauber, and Mayonaka Punch has gone to...Caitlin. She churns out this baffling string in that finale review

So says the ridiculous ANN writer that does the same thing. She loves to take comments people make on the forum and use them as social media fodder, but can't take the heat when you call her out on her bullshit.
