I think when you drawing strict boundary on what are you willing to do with art, stuff you do risk to become stale and limited. It is not about exact boundary, but just about having any limits at all. I've seen degenerate(not always, most are normal, I think) artists making really insightful art and trillion boring commercial draftsmans with skill but zero imagination.

Drawing porn as career is but cringe because of interaction with coomers who can't appreciate beauty of the body and need buttfuckcum of their favorite cartoon.

I'd agree with you if I didn't see this cycle a million fucking times. It's not just the interaction with coomers but I think it's genuinely that the "boundary" erodes due to hyper exposure cause it's "your fucking job"
A human mind wasn't meant to be absolutely saturated in pornography, and creating it clearly involves it more. There's a difference between the occassional horny or even sexual artwork vs just pumping out porn 24/7. I think the people you're talking about are probably half way down the hellscape elevator of brain rot.

Used to hang out with a fat chick artist who drew $150 sketches. She charged +35% for scat despite having no issue drawing it. Absolute peak exploitative artist. Anyway: She basically felt she could get anyone due to her reputation, yet her only means of flirting was drawing pornography during shared drawing sessions. She once made two dudes move together awaiting her judgement while flying out to fuck a third.

I've been detached from the general furry fandom and porn-based communities for years and going back to check up is jarring. Like genuinely, people who live and die by pornography while having to adhere to pro-tranny discourse or basically go broke. The whole "I'm tired of being horny" meme is wrong; it's the world itself that has become severely porn-dependent. Socializing is sharing porn, humor is cropped porn, streaming is edging on pornbrain (mostly from vtubers). We're still going on "Girls who talk about porn!? Awooga!"

Vtubers are just the newest brand of porn culture communities. They all copy-paste their OCs and steal designs, add womb brands, have small white american dudes roleplay with roided-up studs. Exact same circular shit we've already been through several times in other shapes and sizes. I still respect content creators who make one video a quarter, but knowing it's because they're busy baiting erotic fanfic by collabing with other vtubers? Fuck that

Damn I only just noticed this thread existed and thought I was in for a good one when I saw how many pages, but the only real development was the Eve video releasing.

I like his DTRH docs, the vtuber stuff I dont give a fuck about either way (listen ugly bitches gotta eat too and no one clicks on streams without a face anymore) but it's blatently obvious it's his focus now, I would've been happy with Eve as the "finale" esp since he isn't even doing the Warrens consistently.

I'll be monitoring but he's just so boring as a person, man.

It's the quiet death of every content creator: They become streamers, even worse; Vtubers. They realize it's infinitely easier, better paying, and more ego-inflating to open up their stream and hang out with other vtubers who also don't have real jobs and go "Heh, my life is so great. Look at these 129 people who wish they were me". Especially hilarious when you see adult men with families slowly quit their job to stream when it becomes feasible, and then schedule it out properly and financially smart, invest and what not, so that when streaming dies, they don't.

Then you got anime vtubers who have no other prospects in life so they'll prepare for death in case streaming does down.

Greetings again, all.
We're currently on track to begin our new plan of one video every two months starting in February, with Project A coming along well and the Foxhole video maintaining its current rate of progress. You can see below for further details.
Foxhole Video: More of the final music has been completed, with only a few more live instrumental tracks awaiting delivery. Ryan expects the music to all be completed this week, in time for him to begin work on the music for Project A. In the meantime, the blocking for the remaining animations in the first half of the video are due to be finished by Arc Wednesday, with the second half expected to be done next week. With Project A as our release for February, this places us on schedule to release this video in April.
Project A: This has been the focus for myself and DerEineSchwarzeRabe. As Rabe has been researching, I've been writing the script and have completed the first two sections, totaling about 2,000 words. (For reference, an hour of Down the Rabbit Hole tends to be about 8,000-9,000 words) This comprises what I would describe as the introduction of the video, though I hesitate to hazard a guess as to the length just yet. I'm behind where I was hoping to be with this script due to some new discoveries that we made during research, requiring me to rework the opening, but the opening is much, much stronger for it. I intend to record rough narration for Ryan once he's finished with the music for the Foxhole video so he can begin work on music concepts. There will most likely be no animations for this video.
Power Rangers Video: No progress; effort is focused on the other two videos at this time.

Overall he seems to be going fine, he has a healthy community of donators and a Patreon that still nets him 1.6k a month. After all the promises made about workload balance improvements in the post-EvE-video patreon posts his production process seems to be in a better place, which is good. The current workload seems daunting and I'm skeptical about the video release schedule. But I'm not gonna be all snark here, I'd love to be proven wrong.

I do feel for him. He seems to have a "team" of people who are more friendly with each other than your typical Youtube content creation entity and he gives others on the team way too much time to complete their end of the work and it delays the progress horribly. There were months and months of delay on his last video simply because some lazy douche couldn't finish animations he'd been working on for literal years.

He's too passive to get on them for the delays and they're probably all pozzed queers who'd turn around and cry "ab00se!" if Fredrik ever cracked the whip on them.

That's just an outfit, that's common for vtubers to have. He's not Loren the Owl anymore, he's Fredrik Knudsen with Astraline. He's not an indie streamer when he streams with the anime boy avatar, he's employed by Merryweather.
