General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Only correction I would offer is here you seem to be saying one of Vshojo's talents is saying this when it was a third party who is friends with Connor and Mouse
Also, the employee is likely to be Alex Kiyoshi Pelz, who was the Director of VShojo Japan. It's clear from her Japanese tweets that VShojo is the company, and Alex fits what she described.

Mori Calliope has also vagueposted on her PL about everything coming to light, which implicates him further since he used to work for Hololive. It is likely that he pulled similar shit over there as well.

OK, someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but this whole VShojo thing is basically:

-Ironmouse made some vague tweets about "standing up for herself" around 23rd of June of this year
-21st of July, basically a month later, she drops a video announcing that she is leaving / has left VShojo
-The reason for her leaving is that they didn't pay the $513,000 to the charity she wanted to support, and have withheld funds directly to her, and she is proceeding legally with this
-In response, former VShojo members have made vague tweets, possibly implying more information is there than what the public already knows of
-In response, current VShojo members have made multiple tweets regarding "their futures" and have removed VShojo from their X (Formerly Twittter) usernames and bios.
-One states potentially a VShojo employee has been leaking the identities of VShojo talents, as well as information like their marital status, meaning possibly every single one of their "talents" and their families/partners have been doxed.
-KSon, a current (former?) VShojo talent tweets she has reached out to, assumedly VShojo, and not gotten a response from "the ONE PERSON [she] want(s)"

Do I have that right? Holy shit lol. What an implosion in such little time. Not surprised the CEO behind VShojo, Justin "TheGunRun" Ignacio looks like this.

I think Vtubers and Ecelebs need to stop hosting charities that's not a direct donation link to the site instead of being middlemen. This is like the 3rd huge charity drama I've seen happening online. That's still not to say it can't go well like Amelia Watson's charity send off stream or Calli and Biboo recent charity event.

/vt/ kronies are not taking the Nimi news well

theres alot of stuff that happens with muslim women after marriage in indonesia.
as someone from Indonesia.
Mind elaborating, is there some secret Muslim Indonesian marriage ritual where a woman has to pluck a chicken and beat a dog with it or something?

>Niji does Niji shit
>Hololive loses a chunk of their biggest EN girls
>Vshojo imploding again

The future is Phase, anons

Why are some people, especially in the Farms, obsessed with wanting to know what vtubers look like IRL? I don’t want to know what they look like. The whole point of vtubing is the anonymity and illusion. Hand cams are cool, though.
There are women on this forum, they hate their own especially if they are successful without showing their faces.

i think the real question is: is nimi securing a future for the white race?????

But, yeah, good for her. Fauna always came across as very warm and friendly, so hopefully she'll make a good mom.
Yeah, the future Mr. Nightmare is a lucky guy, may we all make it in the future, I wonder if she will invite Dooby and Saba to the wedding…

A man can dream, I know I certainly can. But Fishman’s superpower is picking diamonds from the rough and turning them into stars like the last round of invaders. Motherfucker turned sleepy into a 4ciew overnight.
True but no doubt in my mind Fishman is sliding into the DMs of every vshojo talent. Hell, I don't doubt he sent feelers out for Holo/Niji grads either. Can never hurt to try. He could prolly easily scoop up that last JP wave since they aren't that big.

I think Henya would be a good addition to Phase. Or maybe I just want more Henya/Tenma/Pipper collabs.

Listening to Kson's stream right now. Said she's planning to keep it to her own personal situation and not speak for any other talents. I'll update as it goes.

She said her plans were even before mouses stuff, that she was going to be leaving Vshojo this month on the 31st. For the same reasons being that she hasn't been getting paid. Said things were generally fine until about September of last year. since then her payments have stopped and just kept getting told "it's coming"

Said she waited that long thinking that if she just quit and walked away that they'd just never pay up that money. Says she's going to have Vshojo's JP CEO explain the situation because she's streamed with him before.

Getting emotional and crying because she feels like an idiot for doing streams to explain all the good things about vshojo in the past because she feels like she was lied to.

First question for the JP CEO "are you still the CEO" his answer "for now"

CEO will be sticking to Japanese as he wants to be careful about what he says because it's obviously a delicate legal situation and doesn't want to accidentally say something wrong in English

Starts out covering his ass a bit, says that it's probably not even wise that he's on the stream as he's still affiliated with the company, and if he says something wrong it could affect not only just himself but other talents as well, Says if there's things he can't answer it may be because of that or it could just be that he doesn't know, and being unable to answer those things doesn't mean he agrees with the company on them. Since it's an EN headquarters issue and despite being "JP CEO" he doesn't have much to do with the actual operations of the company. Says he is more a figurehead to coordinate projects in Japan and with Japanese talent.

KSon asks "is it fair to say that Vshojo EN and JP are VERY different and that he wasn't connected to what's been going on.

He says it depends on the project.

Kson asks him to explain the current situation.

He gives a general summary, Ironmouse, like Kson, say they are owed payment as well as a charity has not received money.

Kson states the amount missing from the charity, 500k, which would constitute embezzlement.

He doesn't touch that assertion. instead saying it's a matter of where the money has gone to. Which he believes it went to "operational costs"

Kson asks if he's known about this going on for a while

He says he only became aware of it a few weeks ago but there wasn't much of anything he could do from the Japanese side and he couldn't look into the main company's finances himself. And was himself trying to question the company about how they were going to cover these payments.

Some talk from CEO about how everything runs through the EN side as far as money goes, he can only see the JP side's finances and that the JP side was doing well.

Kson immediately interjects with questioning why she hasn't been paid then. and restates that she's quitting Vshojo as of today. How can things be going well with the JP finances if she's not being paid.

He says on the JP side if talents are leaving they will be directing existing contracts with sponsorships and deals and stuff so that the money will go to the JP talent directly rather than the company.

She then turns the question to "Why did this all happen"

He says he doesn't know much but suspects the EN side has been to lax in handling their finances and this was the result of negligence rather than incompetence.

Kson asks him if he's been getting paid still

He says his salary was cut in half at the start of the year.

Kson replies saying "talents first my ass" when staff are getting paid and the talents aren't

CEO saying there's talk that the finances of JP and EN should just be completely separated so that JP talents getting paid isn't dependent on the EN headquarters.

Kson asks "So will my owed money be paid"

CEO: That depends on of the EN side of the company can recover but I don't think chances are good.

Kson questiosn why the company has been adding more talents if they were already not paying existing talents. Did they think they'd bring in the revenue to pay outstanding debts?

CEO says he doesn't think they thought that far ahead.

Kson saying this all should have been able to be avoided, things didn't need to get to this point and asks if anyone was raising alarm bells trying to stop things from reaching this point.

He says that whenever they hire new talent or staff the company has profit/loss measures and as long as they assume it will result in a profit they get approved to add more staff/talent.

Kson says that whoever approved that must have just been lying then because it hasn't been true.

Kson asks what will happen to NOVA the new JP talents.

He says he's going to try to do his best for the talents under his care (Henya, Kson, and the new girls) he doesn't know how much time he has left at the company but he's going to try to do anything he can in whatever time there is to do things like redirect their sponsorship contracts to pay directly to the talents etc.

Says Henya and Kson should be fine to continue as indies and that their managers can stay with them as independents. The Nova girls got a "that might be difficult" because apparantly they aren't "in the black yet" which I'd guess means they haven't earned enough to pay off their models and stuff yet or something. but still says he'll do anything he can for them.

Kson says there's no sense blaming the JP CEO over everything and that the company needs to make an apology / statement, asks him if there will be one.

He just says he'd hope so (he had also said earlier that the company PR team was still scrambling to issue a statement)

Officially calling Vshojo leadership liars. Not sugar coating anything.
