Chungus, as well as many other conservatives on Twitter, were recently paid by a company called Influencable to be angry that Trump was doing stuff regarding soda.
They were given a template to follow and were paid between $100 and $1000.

This is a weird fucking thing Malaysian and Indonesian Chinese do. Hands down culturally they are the most vapid, image obssessed group I've had to interact and do business with. They are the Valley Girl stereotype turned up to 11. I genuinely do like individuals from both groups, but interacting with them as a group, as social media obsessed clout chasers who want to be recognized as Asian, but flex the cultural luxuries of the West, is frustrating. Our culture is fucking Disneyland to these people and they've bought all the merchandise.

If you do business with them expect them to want pop culture tack. Dinners at Planet Hollywood, tickets to a Yankees game where they get to take selfies in all the Yankees gear you just bought them. Expect big gaudy gold watches and houses with way too much marble. A veneer of culture that is all about showing off to other people, bragging about things that "show" that a person has wealth and status. Instead of just being themselves they act like drag queen white people.

Ultimately when I think of it this explains Ian to a t. Obsessed with the trappings and wealth of Western culture that he sees on social media posts with zero understanding of how most people in Western culture view people so obsessed with wealth and flexing. This weird little bugger has sat on his own, wanting things he imagines we have, and thinks he can short cut and bullshit his way into it. Which is beautiful, because by short cutting and bullshitting so blatantly Ian is low-key admitting he lacks the ability to be what he seeks to be and lacks the means to possess what he wants to have, hence the covetous and impotent rage he gets when his feelings get hurt.
