Quartering pressured some small time grifter Youtuber into taking down a video about his obsession with BBC.
The popularity of this kind of content definitely peeked years ago. There's still an audience for it but I think part of his problem is the market is so oversaturated he just gets a smaller slice of a smaller pie. The reason Karmelo Anthony is his main story right now is that basically no other notable channel is covering the drama and he still gets what would have been considered in the past average views for his channel on those videos, which speaks to where to appetite is in general for that brand of ragebait.
The comics/movies/media grift has been taken over by people like Nerdrotic, Critical Drinker, and about 10 other smaller channels in that sphere. Quartering's videos on the newest woke slop cape shit can barely scrape up 60k views a lot of times. This has caused him to get very salty and declare that media news is "dry" and that he's just tired of hating on every piece of media. Very telling that this change in attitude occurs only the moment it stops putting money in his pocket. Nerdrotic is getting a million views on his "woke black female Ironman" videos while Quartering made two videos that both flopped then threw in the towel on the subject and didn't even bother getting in on the Superman grift. It's not shocking this has happened and has been predicted in this thread for years. If this is the content you want you can go to one of the dozen mid-sized channels that hyperfocus on this stuff exclusively and drop 2-10 videos a week on woke comic book and video game shit or you can come over to Jeremy's channel and watch him react to an article he's clearly reading for the first time in between filming 4 other daily videos and a 2 hour livestream about 4 day old Twitter drama and black people ruining the local Wendy's. While none of this anti-woke content is high quality the gap between Quartering and the other channels doing it is vast.
I really think his biggest folly is his insistence on moving into covering mainstream politics. It's vital he does this to be on Rumble front page but also no one seems to want this from him. The right leaning politics grift is watered down at this point to homeopathic levels. He already failed twice to run with his politics channel Midwestly before pushing that content to his main channel and livestream. He's become very salty at other people successfully grifting in this space with a mix of criticizing them and proclaiming his jealousy while trying to emulate their style without success.
I don't think he knows where to go from here and he's essentially said as much. He's survived this long just riding trends and using his knowledge of analytics and Youtube algorithms to stay ahead of the pack. Now the ragebait brand is in decline and the people who still do it, and the Youtube suggestion algorithm in general, have caught up. Whatever cheap SEO tricks he used in the past to game the algorithm and drive traffic to his channel don't seem to work any more and Youtube is pushing people looking for this slop to other channels that provide more in depth coverage. Of course he frames this as Youtube fucking his channel over for X, Y, and Z reasons while his comment sections fill up with his own fans telling him they left for other channels and why. So finally no one is fooled by this tired narrative after all these years.
He's definitely getting increasingly desperate. In the past week he's upped his output to 25 videos to try and stem the bleeding on his view counts and has started running sponsored Youtube ads for his videos on related channels to find a new audience.
So far this has not been successful with this video currently sitting at 27k views.
We are exactly 30 days removed from his "I'm killing my channel" video and despite drastically increasing his output his views are roughly at the same level as the week before that video. He's also removed his channel logo and face from almost all of his thumbnails, likely in an attempt to pull back in viewers who still get recommended his videos but know better than to click on a 10 minute coffee ad disguised as breaking news. Mind you, his channel would still be considered wildly successful for the average Youtuber but for a slop hog like Hambly who derives pleasure only from online relevance and purchasing expensive consumerist garbage this decline is a complete disaster that threatens his entire identity.
He's gone through phases. For a long time he was clearly drunk in most of his videos. A few years ago he went through a phase where he seemed to be mixing Xanax and/or opiates with alcohol peaking around the time Elon was buying Twitter and he was stirring up Eliza Blue drama. There was a period after that where pulled it together somewhat, at least on camera but now he's back to drunk streaming on slow days. He's on record saying he "used to" have a problem with pain pills and that he abuses them whenever he can pry them from his doctor. He also has regularly talked about his Xanax prescription which he always carries in his pocket as an emergency escape when he's having "anxiety." Just given his abuse of every other substance it's very hard to believe he doesn't abuse those. The speed thing is kind of recent though, sometime in the past two years growing more noticeable over time. A lot of his audience has commented how jerky he is as of the past 18ish months and the way he talks and his overall mannerisms have changed significantly. His pupils regularly look very dilated and he has a lot of tics and stereotypes that suggest amphetamine abuse. If you go back to a video of Hambly from 3 years ago and compare it to a recent one it's pretty jarring. At first I thought the tics were some kind of side effect to a medicine he was taking for another condition but given what I've seen since it seems he got his hands on some Adderall or similar substance.

I remember a TISM episode where they were joking about going through a bottle of pain pills in a few days. That is classic Jermey. As for the Adderall, I swear he's had a script for a few years. Again TISM streams. There is a lot of nuggets in those, because he feels he's safe with Dank and Bearing and just says a lot of incriminating shit. If it's over the past 18 months though, I'd imagine he's ramped up any abuse that's already been happening. He's such a fucking druggie.

Like you mentioned where he's currently compensating for a 50-60% drop in views by simply increasing the absolute number of daily slop videos, I'm sure he's obsessing about output. But there's only so many hours in a day. And he's locked into fixed-but-shrinking streaming demands.
In theory, the methamphetamines are also supposed to make you lose weight from appetite suppression.

He's bumped up his output of long videos to this level in the past, currently on pace for 100+ in a month. In the past though he wasn't also doing 2 hour daily live streams plus shorts and even then he burned out after a few months max since that's just an insane level of slop to be producing even for someone who one takes videos reading articles with zero production. Needless to say his promises to do research and increase the quality of his videos went straight out the window along with his promise to run one ad a day max. The
On the 50-60% decrease that's pretty accurate. He's had roughly a 75%-80% drop in views from his all time highs last year. However if we divide his channel view count by total videos his all time average views per video comes out to 185k, which is pretty insane to me. His average views per video over the past week has been a hair under 91k, so I think that's the most telling metric of where his channel is at currently. Down about 50% from his average over the life of this channel. The thing that has him really stressed though is the way Youtube works if your dedicated viewers start leaving for other channels the algorithm notices and starts sending people down those same paths. So channels in decline tend to continue to decline. In the past he's wormed his way out of this because he was losing people at a steady rate over long periods of time. This time it feels different because a lot of his fans left in a short time period when he started grifting to infinity last spring and he hasn't been able to bounce back at all. Last time election season saved him but we are currently very far from the midterm cycle with Trump splitting his base and no relief in sight.

He's been crying on livestream and Twitter again about how Benny Johnson gets away with shameless clickbait like he isn't doing the same thing. He also made a video claiming Superman is a flop then pinned a comment from a guy saying he was tired of the clickbait and unsubscribing then responded saying the guy didn't watch the video.

He cries about it every day on his live stream then ends the show and immediately cries about it on Twitter.
Oh and he's decided it's time to move on from the Epstein files. He said on his show today that it doesn't matter if Trump's name is in the files or not. This is another case of Quartering's "core" views suddenly changing when it fits the grift. It seems as though the whole 300k in unsecured consumer debt thing was yet another embellished ruse.
- He's been on many spending sprees since: giant aquariums, five-figure luxury watches, built a RC racetrack on his property
- Jeremy gets really butthurt when anyone points out him flexing his luxury purchases on social media months after e-begging about potential bankruptcy
- He couldn't sell enough of his Mother's Day units to "save" his Amazon warehouse exposure even with multiple price reductions to essentially offload them at cost
- So he simply rebranded any remaining overpriced $100 Mother's Day bundles and hawked them again for Father's Day
- Every once in awhile he posts his monthly Amazon sales figures for units moved, bragging how well he is doing. Months after he claimed that he overleveraged himself and had foolishly invested all his liquidity moving his products to the Amazon ecosystem but overlooking how the logistics and costs made no sense
- He rugpulled his audience, taking all the revenue he raised from a Trump MAGA cookbook that was supposed to be earmarked for a new home studio so he could have guests, etc. But he later just pocketed the money and used it for other expenses. His home studio remains unrenovated and shitty as ever. Luke Rudkowski stopped by Wisconsin Casa Hambly recently on his way to Tim Pool's wedding. Luke had to stream from another room on his phone because of Hambly's failed studio promises.
