I know this isn't a surprise, but doesn't this infer that this stupid asshole did a video from 0 to 100 all on Monday? Hey dumbass, maybe scrambling to do a weeks worth of work in a day is why you're suffering burn out.
I've long said that he bashes JQs out last minute, there's plenty of videos where he references things on the weekend before the monday and despite doing it as late as possible he is never timely with his topics.

I fully expect this to be what starts a significant decline in content output.
Well it's not like it'll lead to a decline in quality. That shit left the building a decade ago.
The funniest thing about the push to retcon The Matrix into a trans allegory is how it completely fucks up the red/blue pill analogy.

It was always understood the metaphor was about the value of embracing a harsh reality rather than withering away in a comfy fantasy, but now it's a metaphor for transitioning Neo takes the red pill (HRT) and immediately his life becomes a miserable fucking nightmare and all his friends die lmao
So basically the reality for being trans.

One thing about Matrix Reloaded that bugged me was the reveal that only 1% of humans reject it, and the construction serves as acceptable to the other 99% (Rough numbers, been a long time since I watched it). If that's the case, why are the machines so desperate to destroy Zion? Outside of Neo, the humans are shown to be nuisances at worst to the machines and their world, they can't do any real damage, and are barely struggling to survive.

There's stories that the Wachowskis borrowed very heavily from other sources from The Matrix. They should have kept doing that.

Exactly, that's why it's so funny. Classic troon own goal.

Because WB wanted sequels. Same reason why, by sheer coincidence, Charles Bronson was stalked by gangs every single place he went after Death Wish 1, or how villains in DBZ conveniently always show up in ascending order of power.

Use your ears n'wah. The Architect explains during the TV screen scene;
1% is the baseline "acceptable margin of error" rejection rate, but without "the source" from "the one" in the form of an occasional reboot it eventually -1 delete system32s itself (muh unchecked anomaly muh escalating probability of disaster) and goes to shit like the beta Matrix versions did and fucking crashes, which is why they do the reset every so often, yeah, "turn it off and back on again" is indeed a major plot point.

I thought that the 1% of rejected humans were capable of destabilizing the simulation enough in the long run that it'd collapse, which'd lead to a functional human genocide as everyone gets booted out, alongside whatever it was the machines actually got from humanity. The whole Zion thing was just part of their prolonged garbage collection, let that 1% escape in a controlled fashion, kill them before they go terminal, and reseed the whole system. It was less desperation and more just lack of interest in creativity or problem solving - this solution worked every other damned time, why should now be any different.

I for one think Jimmy will be back sooner rather than later. Because if he doesn't, how is God supposed to torment us with the LOBSTERling PNG avatar?
Oh for sure, but now that the dams been broken and he doesn't have an ego title to chase after, it'll become easier and easier to excuse the next missed video. Mondays will slip into vague week windows, topics will get even more stale, and what little audience remains will have their last jimquisition habits shattered. Once no longer expecting the same videos at the same time every day of the week, they're less likely to come around and watch again. Declining numbers will accelerate, and that'll probably encourage Jim to put his efforts into other, even less productive spaces. That'll increase his incentive to continue delaying and faffing around, videos decline, cycle repeats.

Well too fucking bad because I have a Jim-related question.

I am currently having a breakdown trying to remember the name of a fanboy who was active on YouTube a long time ago and used to regularly post videos gushing over how brilliant Jim was. To add to the creepiness, he looked kind of like Jim's long-lost son, he was a fat little British dude with glasses and greasy hair and tried to ape Jim's way of speaking. I think he even had his own top hat.

Does anyone remember the guy I'm talking about? If yes, can you remember his name? YouTube search is absolutely useless (as always) but it was so long ago there's also a chance he wised up and pulled a DFE.

DING DING DING. That's exactly who I meant. Funnily enough I had this Godwinson video in the back of my mind but I assumed I was getting mixed up with his Neethog Day video about Kay's son.

That video has some gold in it, now I'm rewatching it. Including the clip I wanted for the OP rewrite of Jim watching the Luigi porn that's almost identical to Anthony Logato watching Chris-chan's sex tape.
