Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and SOCOM general - The most "Special" groups in the U.S. Military

What a shame all these young fit Patriot missile system operators and special ops "advisors and instructors" just randomly die in random training accidents at Fort Bragg on a regular basis
It would have been cool if Seth showed the MOS of most of the diseased personnel at Bragg. The four we have are.

15T3O: UH-60 mechanic qualified as a maintenance examiner. (Just a regular heli maintainer)
35P3O: Cryptologic linguist with advanced language skills. (Smart dude. Cryptologic linguists require some of the highest ASVAB scores)
92G3O: Food service specialist with advanced culinary qualifications. (A black cook)
154EC: Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Senior warrant officer (CW4).

The death of the cook was ruled as homicide, the chopper maintainer was a Mormon, and the death cause is "pending".

Tyson Jones Williams Obituary

Staff Sergeant Tyson Jones Williams

May 9, 1994-June 30, 2023

It is with great sadness Tyson Jones Williams was taken from us suddenly on June 30, 2023. Tyson Williams was born on May 9, 1994, to Lanis Williams and Kimberlee Williams, in Orem UT. Tyson grew up in Davis County at Hill Air Force Base and Syracuse UT, during his teenage years.

Tyson graduated from Syracuse Highschool in 2012 and received his Associate’s degree from the Army in 2018.

Tyson Joined the Army on April 15, 2013. He attended basic training at Fort Jackson SC, and AIT Blackhawk Crew-chief training at Fort Eustis Virginia. He served at Fort Carson CO., Afghanistan, Fort Eustis VA. as an instructor, Camp Humphries South Korea, and was currently assigned to Fort Liberty NC. Tyson was proud to serve his country, and loved the wind in his face while flying, but most of all, he loved the men and women he served with. These individuals have become brothers to Tyson and all of us.

Tyson loved the outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, snowboarding, herding cows (only with Pat), and most of all fishing. Fishing was his happy place and a place of comfort. Tyson swore he would never be a golfer, but when he landed in South Korea, he tried it and became hooked.

To say Tyson loved his family was an understatement. He loved hard and with all of his heart. His love for children was unmatched and he was thrilled to be “Uncle Ty-Ty” to his buddies’ kiddos.

Tyson was the most giving, kind person you would ever meet. He gave to the less fortunate anytime he could and was an example of pure goodness to all.

Tyson Loved to make people smile, or even better, laugh. You knew when Ty entered a room because everything seemed brighter and happier. His laugh was contagious. He was a force of nature that people couldn’t resist. He considered you a friend with just a hello.

Tyson is survived by his parents Lanis and Kimberlee Williams. His sister and best friend Ashlee Williams. His grandmother Shirlee Branin, and the most loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tyson was preceded in death by his grandpa Dwayne Branin and his Grandparents Bill and Nancy Williams. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, to donate to one of the organizations that Tyson loved.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 17, 2023 at 11:00 at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, UT . A viewing will be held Sunday the 16th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North Orem, UT. Another viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the funeral at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the funeral at the Orem City Cemetery.

The other two are more interesting imo. The ultra-mutted man who is a cryptologic linguist and served in 3rd Special Forces says the cause of death is "self inflicted". Working in 3rd group, he knew Arabic (Since 3rd's area of responsibility is Africa). I could believe this dude self-deleted.

And the CW4 (A very high rank for a Warrant officer), who belonged to the 160th SOAR (Elite Army helicopter unit) and was an ADA specialist, and refused to state his race, had his death ruled as an accident.

This is the most suspicious IMO. Checking a bit more, now I think I understand why he refused to state his race. I'm 99% sure he was a Sephardi Jewish, looking at his family names.

Robert Adel Ibrahim Obituary

A Reddit account claiming to be the former Command Sergeant Major of B Squadron, Delta Force appeared to defend the practice of enhanced interrogation while simping for John McPhee. What a time to be alive.

I cannot confirm whatever he was in B Squadron, but I can attest for my own talks to the subject that he was a senior enlisted guy in Delta. Pretty knowledgeable guy.

EDIT: Just read his previous statement. Apparently indeed he was the CSM of B Squadron. Tons of info

Not sure what the Marine Corps designator is for it; but had some sort of Hispanic/Black Mix Mutt who was contracted to be a cook in Boot Camp. If 0% intelligence and 110% motivation from some high-school sportsball coach was a thing, he was it. Don't get me wrong, the dudes who had weekend duty and would hook you up with a six-egg omlette were cool; but I didn't really talk to those guys. The one I did know, probably an ASVAB waiver; yeah he had motivation, but you could tell there wasn't much going on in his head.

The more reasonable explanation is simply nigs nigging. If it was advisors being sent to frontlines in Ukraine why wouldn't it be where USASAC is

According to Deptola, one of the Marines pictured, he and his fellow Marines were being chased by Taliban fighters. Deptola said after the shootout with the enemy, he took a gun off of a dead insurgent, then shot it. Depota also testified that he and his fellow Marines later brought the dead bodies together and took pictures, before urinating on the corpses and recording the incident on camera. About 30 minutes later, they moved the bodies to the top of a tank and snapped more photos.
I can get coming off of a combat high and still having all that adrenaline flowing through you, plus the fact that fuck, those fuckers were trying to fucking kill us but we fucking killed them, fuck yeah, but after all the cheering and high-fiving is done, what does it take for a person to step things up to that degree?

Is it just that they already see them as something less than human, and reducing them to corpses just pushed them even lower?

If he's real, I guess that's at least one person on Earth who's willing to corroborate the idea that McPhee did "hundreds of solo ops in Afghanistan," like the one where he got out of a roadside checkpoint by "pretending" to be retarded.

I still really doubt this. When we see the footage of Delta guys landing in groups of 30 and swarming a building, I believe that. Pranka's helmet cam training video where they run into a building, I believe that. And that's the stuff they all talk about. James Bond style solo recon missions in a country where you're the only white guys? The fuck, when do they have time to practice that skillset? Seems like something you'd have intelligence collectors for where that's their entire job.

On the other hand, one of the Delta books, might have been Haney's, goes into how operator training involved things like what you'd expect from intelligence collection: learning how to conduct a clandestine meeting in public and hand off files, how to detect surveillance, all as a singleton. So, maybe? But that seems like it was more of a paradigm holdover from the Cold War when Delta was doing a bunch of low-profile stuff in Germany.

So I dunno. No conclusion really, I'm just speculating. That hundreds of solo ops claim really sticks in my craw.

He deleted the comments defending McPhee but not his other comments. Soft confirmation that DOD members are reading the thread. I believe he is real and there to do damage control for the unit but fucked up by appearing to defend direct and aggressive tactical questioning. (an obvious euphemism) What McPhee allegedly did was taser a truck driver in Fallujah repeatedly. And McPhee himself bragged about making dogs bite Iraqi detainees in the testicles on podcasts. The statement that McPhee didn't fail to meet operational standards could be interpreted as meaning that such interrogations were common throughout the unit. There's other stuff in that comment that doesn't match McPhee's career dates and hasn't been stated by anyone else including McPhee. Corpo style shilling IMO.

The solo mission story as described by McPhee simply isn't possible. So he gets dropped off on the side of the road in Afghanistan; points a gun at passersby until one of them stops; and then what? That's where the story breaks down. He is supposed to be getting eyes on a senior Al Qaeda leader. How does he communicate that with his hijacked driver (who most likely doesn't know anything anyway) when he doesn't speak the language at all, and is "pretending'' to be retarded? It's a nonstarter.

There is an interview with a former Delta Force Operator who also says he conducted solo missions, but there is a world of difference in intellect, maturity, and plausibility between him and McPhee. He starts talking about solo missions at 1:16:48

*Edit- Now the account has deleted all comments. A stalker child defeating a supposed unit CSM. :'(

Who would be the stalker child? He's gone silent due to this former coworkers and the CID. There's a reason I try to warn the teenage stalker kids.
It's a generic term for users of this website coined by Patrick Tomlinson. Not referring to whatever beef and vague threats you have going on with someone else.

*Edit- LOL. LMAO, even.
RIP CSM :semperfidelis:

NOT SO FAST BUCKO! :unholy:

Archive 1 / Archive 2 / Archive 3 (Every post of the CSM archived)

I may not be a good phonebooker or investigator, but I'm a Kiwifarmer and so I know to always archive everything! (especially Reddit)

Details about the CSM according to him. He enlisted at 17, trying to go the SF route as fast as possible. He spent time 00-03 in C Company 1/75. Got his CSM rank at 22 years of service. And retired in 2024. If we assume he enlisted straight into in the rangers, his date of birth should be around 1983. His age should be around 42 in that case. Remarkably young.

All the reports of those security contractors killing civilians suddenly make a lot more sense now.
From hangover cures to hit-and-run: The former Green Beret behind Gaza aid security
"His ties to Gaza date back to the early days of the war, when he was involved in evacuating U.S. citizens from the strip through a nonprofit called the Sentinels Foundation — an organization he co-founded in 2019 with another American, Glenn Devitt. The group, which officially aims to combat child exploitation, previously operated in Afghanistan and Ukraine"

Sentinel foundation strikes again. Maybe this dude worked with Brent Tucker and Taylor Jolly in there / archive

I was gonna mention this months ago but forgot about it.
As far as the guy who was telling the whole "I just pretended to be retarded because I didn't speak the language and it worked" story, it sounds fucking stupid, BUT! In the book No True Glory, about the second battle of Fallujah, the reporter tells a story of a single Delta guy reconning a weapons market before the battle.
Guy didn't speak enough Arabic, so he pretended to be retarded.
There's a possibility it's the same guy and that he's been pretending to be retarded all over the world for the entire GWOT.
