Sam Hyde

Sam has dropped a new promo vid (a) for the season finale of Extreme Peace, and it's... quite something.

(E: re-encoded and re-posted at 720p, the default 4K that got ripped earlier was pretty ridiculous in terms of size)
I don't always indulge in based nahdsee content but when I do I make sure it is directed by a homosexual jew, produced by a spic and features a cast chock full of freemasons.

One of the few sketches that i really enjoyed and seemed original (not a sequel to WP) was the steve harvey one, was it because it was very short and actually funny/silly? Maybe keeping it short and sweet makes you want more, the daddy dom stuff had its funny moments, but not that much to be that long in almost all eps.

With e6 out, my brief final take:
Trimming most of the skits to make the episodes around 15 minutes each would have definitely covered up a huge amount of the flaws across the board. WP was what, 11 minutes each? With the same number of skits overall? It's possible even WP would have felt awkward at 30 minutes an episode.
Most Charls sketches were funny on first watch, the rest may take a second viewing to appreciate more.
Someone else said it best, the chaotic, fast-paced weirdness of some of the 60 second sketches in WP sandwiching sketches with heavier messaging was what gave WP its memorability. EP Season 2 (3?) should really try to recapture that.
Sharper editing, more chaos, more Charls riffing and monologues, more covert political tones. Next season can be a real winner. This season was a great proof of concept with some gems for sure.

You know it wasn't long ago on Adult Swim you used to wait in the Gorilla Nest. As far as I'm concerned you should STILL BE THERE.

Just watched through the entire season with a friend, I think episodes 1 and 5 were gold all the way through and the rest were hit or miss with mostly hits and the misses still being kind of funny but either stretching the joke out for too long or being too abstract to really hit your funny bone in a satisfying way. I really hope we get a season 3 and if there was a spinoff that's literally just the daddy dom dating show, I'd eat that shit up if only because it's like a trainwreck I can't look away from.

Daddy Dom finally got mildly funny and it only took being in half the episodes. I wish they stuck the ethnic face paint gag to one or two skits (Horny Family Feud or the Chinese AI skit) because it become stale if its in almost every episode.

Was watching reels and Harland Williams account came up with some faggot thing I didn't care about. I saw he had five mutual followers: everyone from MDE except for Sam. Made me laugh harder than any other discussion about the gorilla nest stuff so far.
(other than my own posts on the subject of course).

Feels surreal that Extreme Peace has come on gone. Was pretty good all things considered but too much fanfare and hype. I think Sam is also underestimating the climate when it comes to censorship and stuff now. It isn't 2016 anymore. The whole world is J Naming now..

I'm glad the consensus seems to be shorter episodes = good, from people here and from Sam. It's either that or just have a 30 min show, but with lots of different skits, but that probably wears you out so better to keep it short. If S3 has 12 15min episodes as was mentioned I think it could be a real winner.

I miss how the music on WP for the in between skits as a bit menacing. I like the music on EP, but the there was something great about the music on WP
