these guys met with a foreign ship, but what you are talking about also happens a lot because of our high prices
they float big loads of coke with a tracker on it so they can see where it is, and they float it on its own on an ocean current that goes by Aus or close enough
when one eventually makes it here they call their contact in Aus who paid for it previously
they get the call, get directions or a method of tracking, then go out to sea and collect it
sometimes the load gets busted up though and bricks just start washing up on beaches
